Clearfork Baptist Church held its first worship service on April 1, 2001; this initial gathering was held at a local day care facility in Hawley, the Sunshine Patch. Over 80 individuals came to worship our Lord on that first Sunday, and on the next Sunday the church relocated to the high school cafeteria. Meetings were held there until the completion of the worship facility on June 6, 2004. On January 11, 2015, the church dedicated and began the full utilization of the new education and fellowship wing of the facility. Named after the nearby Clear Fork of the Brazos River, Clearfork is a congregationally-run Baptist church with a blended worship style, a variety of local ministry efforts, and a rural church flavor.
